The Kids FIRST Advisory Council is a group of respected community leaders whose expertise, ranging from child abuse and domestic violence prevention and intervention to philanthropy, healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, helps strengthen our mission as Lane County’s Child Advocacy Center. Council members serve three-year terms, are available on an ad-hoc basis for occasional calls, emails, or brief meetings with the Executive Director or Board of Directors, and attend a designated Board Meeting once per year as a full group.

While Advisory Council members have no formal governance role, they provide valuable insight on programs, services, and community impact and allow Kids FIRST to publicly recognize their involvement. In return, we offer a meaningful way to support vulnerable children in our community, our deep appreciation, and a commitment to keep communication purposeful.
